A common misconception that has misguided the understanding of Egyptian history is that the pyramids were erected as tombs. No ruler in Egypt’s history have ever been laid to rest inside a pyramid, and the valley of the kings is subsequently unnoticed due to this false information. There are mysteries exceeding those exclusive to the pyramids, and the Valley of the Kings stands in equal measure to the unknown mystical backstory of history’s biggest unexplained marvels of their time.

Osman has written many books outlining his theories of Ancient Egyptian history - this one, I think, has his strongest theory - that the mummy of Egyptian official Yuya may well be the bible's Joseph. Osman uses both archeological evidence as well as biblical to argue his point. Extremely interesting, and his ideas figure into the possible relationship between the monotheist cult of Akhenaten & the Hebrew presence in Goshen.
